We strive to create a transformative experience that empowers individuals to embrace personal growth, navigate challenges with resilience, and foster meaningful connections in their lives.

Meet Your Therapist

Elizabeth “Liz” Wisker is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with the North Carolina Board of Licensed Clinical Social Workers (C013361). She has earned her Master of Social Work from Indiana University in 2013. She focuses her continued education on therapeutic techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), trauma-focused CBT, shame-informed therapy, behavioral modification, and evidence-based motivational interviewing for best practice.

Liz is experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults and families in community-based, private office, integrative healthcare, and school settings. She has experience working with a variety of populations including individuals, couples, and families with concerns related to anxiety/stress, depression/mood, self-esteem, trauma, behavioral disorders, adjustments/life transitions, school/work difficulties, and parent-child conflict. She believes in providing patients with a safe place to address their concerns without judgement or bias, and in meeting each individual where they are to empower and improve coping self-efficacy. To achieve this she utilizes and employs a strengths-based and person-centered approach.
