What to Expect

My office hours are Tuesday-Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. If you call and I am unavailable, please leave a message with your name, the best phone number to call you back, and the best times to reach you. I will return your phone call within 24 hours.

Prior to your first session you will receive a free 15-minute call to discuss your issues and needs, service options, associated costs, and payment options. After the phone call, you will receive an email with forms that must be completed and returned prior to your first session.

You will be sent appointment reminders through text and email 48 hours in advance containing your appointment time, location for in-person sessions, and link for online sessions. On the date of your appointment, come in person to the address provided in your reminder, or online at the link provided through your email. If in person, dress in layers and comfortably. If online, please be aware of your surroundings and who might be listening to your sensitive information discussed during sessions.

There is an initial intake interview with diagnostic measures that will periodically be re-screened and reassessed to measure for improvements and further necessary changes in treatment plan. Psychotherapy sessions utilizing Cognitive Behavior Therapy approach typically take 12 -18 sessions. However, there could be fewer or more sessions needed to address complex symptoms.

A Termination Session is always recommended when you feel services are no longer needed for whatever reason, whenever possible. This is an important part of the therapeutic process and your healing.
